Public Hearing on Admission Based Event Policy

Denver Parks and Recreation is hosting a public hearing on
Thursday, August 12 from 5:30-7:30 p.m. to present the Admission Based
Event Policy and take public input.

This is the public’s last chance to weigh in on the matter and,
frankly, it looks like a lost cause. While the majority of residents
appear opposed to the idea, the city appears to have already made up
its mind to approve admission-based events. Still, hold onto your hats
kids…this meeting should be a doozy. The meeting will take place at
the Wellington E. Webb Municipal Building, 201 West Colfax, 4th Floor,
room 4.G.2. (enter on Court St side).

A copy of the full Admissions Based Event Policy is on file with
the Manager of Parks and Recreation and is available for public
inspection on the Denver Parks and Recreation Web site,
www.denvergov.org/parksandrecreation, on the DPRAB site through August
12, 2010.
